I keep teeter-tottering back and forth with my conviction to lose weight and to take better care of my body.

I've missed posting several weigh-ins b/c other things have taken priority over blogging as of late.

Two weeks in a row I was at 153. :) I was pleased with that. The next week after that, I had gone up. But I'm not sure whether to count that weigh-in since it didn't happen on the normal Thursday morning, and I'll take any excuse that might account for the difference in weight! :)

Then last week we were in VIRGINIA (Hopefully I can share on that in a later post) and I have been told by several people not to weigh-in on a different scale. So, I didn't. (In case you can't tell - that's totally an excuse. I am dreading weighing in again.) We'll see what this week holds....

Why is it so hard for me to care? Some days I REALLY wanna lose weight and just be all around healthier, and other days all I can think about is how yummy curly fries from Arby's would be!

Do any of you ladies have tricks to keep you motivated in your weight loss or your striving to become a more well-balanced individual?

I must confess that I've been overwhelmed the last week or so. BUT, I have consistently been putting my Bible reading above everything else and, (wonder of wonders!) I'm overwhelmed, but FAR from being discouraged!

The Lord is so faithful, ya'll. Seriously. It's almost 8:30pm on Sunday night, and I'm staring at 94 pages of textbook reading and 34 homework problems that all need to be done by tomorrow at 9:30am, and, I'm NOT discouraged.

Who but our faithful Lord could do such a mighty work?!

So, I'm writing just to say that I know it's been a long time since you've heard from me. I'm not forgetting to blog! I've been keeping a list of all the many things I want to share with you (my firsts, my weigh-ins and scrapbook pages, among other things) and I will get to them someday. But, today, this week, this month, the Lord is teaching me about re-prioritizing.

I pray that each of you are having a wonderful Sunday. Have any of you been amazed at our Mighty God's work lately? I'd love to hear about it! Please share.
