Brakes sure are expensive.

I went to midas early this morning to take care of our car...to repair the damage ended up costing us $611.24. But, on the plus side, gettting up early meant that I was able to get a lot done, though you wouldn't be able to tell it by my point system. You see, I only got 9 points that day. But, the pitfall with my system is that, I get one point for each thing I cross off my list....regardless of how long it took me to accomplish that one thing. For instance, 30 minutes of cleaning around the house gets the same amount of points (1) as reading an entire chapter in one of my text books. Maybe I should change the system...but then again, it works in motivating me...so maybe not!
